This is an interactive PowerPoint that can be used to teach students how to write a resume, basically, where each element of a resume goes. When a student scrolls over a colored box, an example of what goes there comes up, and a voice says what goes there. This PowerPoint was created by Jennifer Palmertree. You cannot view the animations in the embedded PowerPoint above. You will need to click on the link that is the title of the presentation. This is a whole-class review game about parallel structure, which is based on the game show "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?" The game was created by Jennifer Palmertree.
This is a game/online quiz that requires you to proof mistakes in sentences. High scores are shown on the site, and it can be fun to try to beat that score. Some of the proofing can get pretty advanced.
There are MULTIPLE games on MULTIPLE grammar topics at this site. The games are not much more than digital quizzes, however, the site uses some funny images and text (similar to the way that teenagers talk) to keep teens a little more interested.
